The children’s play area is lined with Ryukyu tatami mats for safety.
Parents can also rest and relax together in a Japanese atmosphere created by Requ’s translucent washi.
The delicate paper is mounted on an acrylic panel to prevent it from being torn. The paper is used as a divider while maintaining its transparency.
The washi mobiles were installed to move gently through the space where people move, with the idea that they should be healed by looking at them during the waiting period.
Recognizing the size of the space, a large mobile was custom-made with many pieces of washi paper lace.
